Sweet girl!

I still have not found a home for the lovely dog I found the other day.  She's enjoying her time here with us in the home and behaving super well!  She has been accompanying me to the beach in the mornings while I do surf photography.  She's been loving the walks on the beach, and the new toys I bought her.  Yesterday she learned the command "down" and "stay". She's really quite smart and soooo sweet.

Lucy needs a home!

I was out for a run yesterday and came across this beautiful little dog wandering in the middle of traffic around fields.  She looked lost and hungry and scared. I couldn't leave her be so I picked her up in my arms and carried her home. I gave her a flea bath, and some food, and lots of snuggles.  She's very well behaved for  a "zaguate".  I'm looking for a good home for her. She has an exceptional temperament and is very well behaved and obedient. If you live in Costa Rica and are looking for a good dog, please leave a comment with your email.  Thanks!

Cats Of Malta

I met the friendliest bunch of cats during my trip to Malta.  I was surprised at how many ferrel cats they have over there. People regularly feed them, so no one's starving!  Here are some shots of some of the cats I met during my stay.

Doo Doo The Dog

His name is Doo Doo, as in doggy doo doo. That's what his fisherman friend told me, which in Maltese apparently means minnows? On my recent travels to Malta, I noticed that there weren't that many dogs around, but about a bazillion cats.  Doo Doo was one of the few dogs  I got to take a snapshot of.  He can be found every day at the same spot in St Juliens Bay, alongside the fisherman making fishing nets by hand.  Doo Doo is really quite friendly.

I finished a new sweater last week (the second one in orange) which I named Pumpkin Patch, well simply because it reminds me of a pumpkin.  I needed some photos for my website and so I put Binky to work!  I think he likes his new job of being my product model because he's so good at it!

Mr Chihuahua

I happened to meet this really sweet and tiny chihuahua the other day while having some lunch.  I couldn't resist but to photograph his cute little teeny tiny face!! It wasnt' as easy as it seems because he wouldn't sit still for even a second!
